1. Liverpool – Liverpool conceded their first goal of the 2018/19 campaign, and they have continued their blistering start. Their arrival to the top of the rankings is partially thanks to Man City’s failure to defeat Wolves in large due to missed calls by the referee.
  2. Manchester City
  3. Chelsea
  4. Tottenham
  5. Arsenal – It is difficult to know what to expect from Arsenal this season. There is always going to be cause for stress when a new manager is in town after the old one stuck around for 22 years. This reformed Arsenal side has shown flashes of their potential, but their gaping holes were especially obvious in their defeats to Chelsea and Man City. Their defensive issues were especially obvious against Cardiff City. Cardiff was supposed to be an easy fixture that turned into a close scare.
  6. Watford – The Golden Army is a perfect 4 for 4 after a come from behind victory over Tottenham. Watford this season has only had the majority of the possession in one of their four victories, and that was against Brighton. Even against Crystal Palace, a team known for employing the same tactic, they managed only 43% possession. This Watford side was expected to struggle after the loss of Richarlison, but perhaps they can pull off a one season wonder, similar to Leicester’s magical season in 2015-16.bdc20d89203c4272547f5843b135d331
  7. Everton

  12. Southampton
  13. Fulham
  14. Crystal Palace
  15. Brighton
  16. Newcastle
  17. Burnley
  18. West Ham – West Ham has been absolutely abysmal so far this term. Despite having a tough start to the season, facing Arsenal, Liverpool, and the newly promoted Wolves, Hammers fans should be extremely disappointed to have taken zero points from their first four games.
  19. Huddersfield
  20. Cardiff City
